Running

"Running" Narrated by Aisha: " While she was on a journey with the Messenger of Allah she said: I had a sprinting race with him which I won. Later when I put on weight, I had another race with him, and this time he won. He said: "This win is for the previous race." (Sunan Abi Dawud 2578). Running is the most basic and natural form of exercise for humans, it allows the use of one's own body weight thereby minimizing injuries that are often associated with many sports. Running helps to strengthen the muscles, bones, lungs, build stamina, lose weight, and create balance. The Prophet himself ran as well as took part in races on multiple occasions. he also encouraged running, especially during training as he said: "everything which does not contain the remembrance of Allah is futile and vain except four things: They are a man walking/running between the two targets, training his horse, learning swimming and playing with his family," (Sunan Al-Kubra Li

Body has a right

Hy gaes, I'm Oliv Is there anything concerning you? Okay, today I will share about one of my favorite hadith, the title is: "Body has a right" Narrated by Abdullah bin Amr: the Messenger of Allah said: O' Abdullah I have been informed that you fast all day and pray all night. I replied " Yes O Messenger of Allah. He said "Do on other days, stand up for the prayer at night and also sleep at night. Surely, your body has a right over you, your eyes have a right over you and your spouse has a right over you. Shahih Al Bukhari 5199. Health is such a great blessing bestowed by Allah upon his servant. One would find that health and wellbeing are more important than money and many otherworldly possessions. This gives up all their wealth to remove an illness, or many would sacrifice their wealth for a good night's sleep. The importance of health is highlighted by the hadith where the Prophet mentions that health is a blessing after iman (faith). "You have

Grief / Anxiety

Grief / Anxiety~ Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet passed by a woman who was weeping beside a grave. He told her to be conscious of Allah & show patience. She said to him, "Go away, for you have not been afflicted with a calamity like mine," as she did not recognize him. When she was informed that he was the Prophet, she went to the house of the Prophet and did not find any guard l, she said to him, "I did not recognize you." He replied, "Surely, patience is at the first impact of a calamity." Sahih Al Bukhari 1283. Feeling grief and anxiety especially having faced calamities is natural, which every single person will inevitably have to face, but it is how we deal with these situations that define us. Allah Almighty highlights how this is a test in life. Alquran (2:155), Surely, we will test you with a bit of fear and hunger, and loss in wealth and lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient." At the same time, Allah does not aband

Food Control

Food Control~ Narrated by Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: 'A person does not fill any container that is worse than his stomach. It is sufficient for the son of Adam to eat what will support his back. If this is not possible, then a maximum third for food, a third for drink, and third for his breath." Jami' Al-Tirmidhi 2380 Allah Almighty has created human beings and He knows best what is good for them. He has allowed us to seek His provisions and to moderately indulge in the blessings and bounties that He has placed at our disposal. Yet He has set guidelines and conditions on their usage, He states: "And eat and drink, but do not be exercise. Indeed, He likes not those who are excessive." Obesity and overeating have become a big challenge in our modern and technologically advanced society. The Prophet teaches us that the maximum one should eat is up to one-third of the stomach, anything beyond that would be excessive. He would

Positive Outlook

"Positive Outlook" Narrated by Suhaib: "The Messenger of Allah Said: The Muslim's affair is amazing, as it is good in every situation of his and this is exclusive for the believer. If the experiences delight and are grateful then it is good for him, and if he faces hardship and endures it patiently, then this is also good for him. Sahih Muslim 2999. This hadith beautifully illustrates that good and bad are not in what is happening to a person, rather it is defined by how one responds to that situation. Therefore, if a person faces hardship or poverty and can make sabr (patient), then they will feel contentment and peace, and they should reflect that there are many people in the world who are in a worse situation than themselves. Likewise when a person is given prosperity or ease, and they express shukr (gratitude), then they will be in a state of humbleness, and should reflect on the fact that these blessings are only from Allah, He bestows it to whomever he wills an

Optimisme Olivia

Optimism Narrated by Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah said: "Allah the mighty and sublime, said: 'I am to my servant as he thinks of me, and I am with him as he remembers me'. Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His servant than what one of you would feel on finding your lost camel in the waterless desert. "When he draws near Me by a handspan, I draw near him by an arm's length, I draw near him by the length of a fathom and when he draws near Me walking I draw close to him hurriedly." Sahih Muslim 2675. We should always have good thoughts Allah: we should have faith that Allah can give us anything we ask for, but out of His wisdom and mercy He only gives us that which will bring us benefit. So, ask Allah with optimism and certainty: "Call upon Allah while being certain of being answered, and know that Allah does not respond to a supplication from the heart of one heedless and occupied by play." (Jami' Al - Tirmidhi 3479). Another
